Sun salutes are a complete practise in themselves, a perfect sequence of movements to start the day, waking the body and bringing clarity and balance to the mind. Each pose flows into the next, led by the breath, a bit like a dance. When we know the sequence, we can relax into it and focus fully on the practise. Our gaze is intentionally directed and focused, the movements lead effortlessly into each other, and the breath flows easily in and out. Perfect way to start the day or any yoga practise.
And as with all yoga practises, the movement can be adapted to suit every body. So if your knees are a bit creaky in the winter time or your back aches first thing in the morning we find ways to modify to suit you.
