At Gaia Abasan Mountain Retreat, Tejakula.
14th to 21st June 2024
Take yourself away from it all, take time to unwind, deepen your yoga and meditation practise and enjoy a unique, beautiful Balinese location.
Helen and Pip are looking forward to returning to Bali and taking you to this fabulous retreat setting, hidden in the mountains on the quiet, north of the island.
This is an opportunity to leave behind busy daily life, a chance to pause, connect with your self, rest in nature, to be quiet and spend time simply being present. We are taking a small group (maximum of 16 people) so places are limited.
Making time in life to ‘retreat’ is one of the finest gifts you can give to yourself.
Gaia Oasis is located on the north coast of the island of Bali near village of Tejakula in the green rural heartland of Northern Bali. The Gaia Oasis resorts support a non- profit foundation that works with the local community to improve local lives and the living environment.
At the Gaia Oasis Abasan Mountain Retreat the earth elements of nature combine with the vitality of northern rural Bali creating an environment in which to reconnect and rejuvenate. It is a place to rest, explore the mountain pathways and swim in the beautiful salt water swimming pool built into a mountain terrace.
Meals are served buffet style and are mainly vegetarian with some local fish and chicken dishes available. Indonesian and western influenced cooking using ingredients sourced from the resort garden or from local markets.
Accommodation is in large, Balinese style bungalows, surrounded by organic gardens and fruit trees. Each bedroom has a large, open-air ensuite bathroom. Twin share rooms at Gaia Abasan have 1 single and 1 double bed.
Guests also have access to Gaia’s sister retreat on the beach, a short 15 minute drive away or a walk down the mountain. There is a free shuttle between the mountain and beach retreat. Here you can swim in the ocean and snorkel over the protected coral reef.
The average temperature in June is 27°C. In this mountain location humidity can be less intense and temperatures more temperate than in lower areas in Bali.
‘I’d just like to say THANK YOU again so much for such a wonderful retreat. I was not really sure what to expect and it really went beyond those ideas. Pip and Helen you are both such amazing women that have so much knowledge and experience to share.’
‘The whole retreat was looked after so well; from the knowledgeable and fantastic teachers, to the program, to the food, to the roommates selected for us. It was an emotional and cleansing retreat that had something for everyone and where everyone felt supported. Thank you so much.’
