Dee is a passionate yoga teacher with a gentle, grounded approach. She first fell in love with yoga at a class in 1982 when pregnant with her first son. Practising over the years before progressing to complete her 3 year yoga diploma in 2010. During this time Dee lived in an ashram for a year – dedicated solely to teaching yoga, living in harmony with nature and appreciating the simple life. Dee has also completed a 12 month course in pranayama and meditation with IYTA. Since then she has spent over 10 years teaching her own classes, including offering yoga at the Women’s Health Centre, Gosford Hospital Cancer Care and the Cancer Care Cottage. Dee also facilitates a class each week at the studio for anyone who is a carer that is funded by Yoga for Good, which she has various teachers share their practice to support those on their caring journey.
