What if your body held more answers than your brain?

A collaboration of Embodied Dance & Sound healing hosted by Roots Collective & Umina Beach Yoga

Join us to surrender to the beat and allow your movement talk in truth.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Trance Temple offers time, space and bass for you to use movement as medicine. With music as the medium and the gentle guidance of our embodiment facilitators, you are invited to transcend your mind, descend into your body and open to the world of feeling and healing.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For centuries, humans have gathered around the beat of a drum in the name of healing, connection and community.
Rhythm is our mother tongue.
And when we surrender to the beat, something ancient wakes up inside us.
Whether you come to shake off the week, move emotions, meet community or simply feel more alive – you are welcome here.
How does Trance Temple work?
Trance Temple is a guided intuitive dance journey where music becomes the pathway into presence. As the rhythm builds and unfolds, you are invited to move in whatever way feels natural for your body. There is no choreography and no expectation – just space to explore, release and reconnect.
Through a carefully curated arc of music, the dance gradually deepens into a trance-like state where the busy mind softens and the body takes the lead. In this space of movement and rhythm, the dance floor becomes a place where you can move beyond the usual limits of the mind and reconnect with the deeper wisdom held within your body.
Sometimes this feels like freedom.
Sometimes it feels like healing.
Often it simply feels like coming home to yourself.
Oh! Before you get to it 😉 Here’s a list of excuses we know your mind may think of:
  • “I can’t/ don’t dance / I have no rhythm”
    • On the other side of your resistance is freedom. Your very nature is rhythm. From the pulse of your heart, to the beat of your breath. Come see what is possible when you surrender to it.
  • “I am too shy and self conscious”
    • If we won’t judge you… why do you?  Try being in a space where you are supported in every single ugly, beautiful, weird, wild wonderful version of yourself. Try it on and see?
  • “I’m not sure I’ll do it right”
    • You couldn’t possibly do this wrong, as in this practice – nor right or wrong exist!
  • “I’m too old”
    • It’s never too late to find your flow.
Feel free to write to us with more excuses, we’d love to hear from you!
