Vietnam Luxury Yoga Retreat 2019

Making time in life to ‘retreat’ is one of the finest gifts you can give to yourself.

Give yourself this opportunity to escape the busyness of daily life, a chance to pause, connect with your self; connect with nature; to be quiet and spend time ‘being’ rather than ‘doing. This luxury retreat is all about nurturing, pampering and taking care of you so you feel thoroughly nourished inside and out.

Imagine a luxury resort on a tranquil white sand beach, enjoy the peaceful sounds of the ocean whilst relaxing by your own private pool. Experience the fresh and amazing flavours of Vietnamese food. Choose a coffee body scrub, Himalayan heart stone massage or coconut envelope from the extensive spa menu…..bliss!

Our unique retreat includes 4 nights in the stunning Fusion Maia Resort on the white sands of Danang followed by two nights in the luxury Intercontinental Resort inspired by Vietnamese temples and traditional villages.

Enjoy daily yoga sessions, spa treatments, delicious meals and plenty of time for cultural adventures, leaving you feeling totally indulged, relaxed and rejuvenated – physically, mentally and emotionally.

For unforgettable cultural encounters, the picturesque resort is located within easy reach of three UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Private Pool Villas. You will stay in a beautiful, modern villa with an exquisite private pool, an intimate green courtyard garden, and a spacious open-plan bedroom, living room, and bathroom. The villas are simple but luxurious, spacious but homely. Price includes twin share. If you are considering attending but are a single wishing to share a villa please let us know and we will do our best to find you a sharing partner.

Breakfast “Anywhere, Anytime”. They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and that’s why at Fusion Maia you can’t miss it! In addition to our extensive international morning buffet, guests can enjoy breakfast in any of our restaurants, in the privacy of their villa, by the pool, or even down on the beach with the sand between their toes, and all at any time of the day or night. There are also a number of other restaurants and cafes to choose from at the resort and the Fusion Cafe Hoi An. Located in the UNESCO Heritage Old Town of Hoi An, Fusion Cafe is fun, fresh, and totally inspired by the flavors and cultures of this incredible town. There are complimentary bicycles for hire and a complimentary shuttle from the resort to Hoi An.

Shaking off the distractions of the modern world is one of the most important parts of any retreat, and so, for each night stayed at the Fusion Maia Resort, the extensive spa menu and dedicated spa and wellness facilities are at your disposal at no extra cost. With two treatments guaranteed per day, per guest (and more if we have availability), Maia Spa Da Nang redefines the spa experience by incorporating total well-being into your daily routine, allowing you the freedom to relax and rejuvenate at your leisure.

Feedback from one of our last guests:

“We start the day with yoga, then breakfast, then a spa treatment (maybe a massage), then a swim (in the pool or at the beach), then lunch and another spa treatment, and more yoga. We’re a small group with Helen and Carolyn managing the yoga and our well being, and Allison looking after tours and travel.

There’s time to walk along the beach, try Vietnamese food or catch the hotel bus into Hoi An where speeding motorbikes make crossing the road an adventure and people are generous but not above driving a hard bargain. The markets are full of colour and the women where long-sleeved shirts to keep their skin light. The food is tastefully arranged, but the shirts never match the pants they are wearing. The streets are strung with coloured lanterns. You can take a boat ride on the river, buy presents for friends who couldn’t make it, drink Vietnamese coffee or just sit and stare at the life around you. You can have clothes made of silk, take a tour of the temples or maybe Allison will arrange a cooking tour. Or you can sit by the pool all day and read. Take time for yourself.

Best of all there’s yoga every day. Since the last retreat in Vietnam, I still practice yoga every day. It makes a difference to the way I feel about my body and myself.“Michelle
