Teen Yoga and Mindfulness

This is a series of 5 classes designed for teenagers aged 13 plus.
Mondays 5.00 to 6.00pm.

  • Explore the incredible adolescent brain to help us understand why we feel and react as we do.
  • Learn how to use yoga tools to reduce stress, anxiety and stay calm even when it feels like the world is going crazy!
  • Develop strength, mobility, agility, control and balance in the way we move our bodies and bring the same qualities to our minds.
  • Learn to be more in the present, to find and enjoy the feeling of inner stillness and peace.
  • Develop self awareness – mentally, physically and emotionally – so we can navigate through life in a positive way.
  • Celebrate the importance of this exciting, inspiring, creative time in our lives. We love the courageous and adventurous teen spirit!

Helen has been teaching yoga to young people of all ages for over 20 years. For the last 5 years she has been teaching yoga, mindfulness and meditation to teens at school on a daily basis. She is qualified as an accidental counsellor and youth mental health first aider.
